Since our last update the school has been a hive of activity. On Wednesday and Thursday last week all parents had the opportunity to meet with the child’s teacher to discuss their progress in learning. Please contact the school if there are any further issues you would like to follow up as a result of your consultation appointment. All parents also had the opportunity to enjoy their children’s art work, which formed a part of a gallery that was on display in the school hall. Any parents wishing to purchase their child’s artwork should contact the school office for further details.
The school choir were also busy on Thursday, participating in “Voice In A Million” at the Playhouse Theatre. The event was a great success and the children involved did a super job in representing the school. More details can be found here.
The Lions had a visit to Bannockburn on Wednesday as part of the class learning about the topic, while the Giraffes have welcomed Ms Lorna O’Brien, a PGDE teaching sudent, into their class for her final placement that will run until Tuesday 29 May.
In the coming weeks there will be a Monday holiday on 21 May and a teacher in-service day on Tuesday 22 May, the whole school walk on Friday 25 May and Health Week, beginning on Monday 28 May. It’s a busy time for us all but should any of you have any queries or concerns you would like to address with us then please do not hesitate to contact us.
