The school is looking great. There are lots of new displays of the children’s work, all about reading this time, that have just been put up on the boards all round the school. You can also look out for some of the wonderful models that the zebras have made and see how many of them that you can recognise. Some of our P6 and P7 pupils were out of school at a cross-country event in Duddingston on Monday morning and, according to Mrs Jeffrey, “did the school proud.” Well done to everyone who took part. The Giraffes were out on Wednesday afternoon at the Usher Hall participating in “The Big Breakthrough,” a new musical initiative involving several schools in Edinburgh. Everyone had a super time.
Looking ahead at the final week of term, the Zebras will be at a cricket festival on Tuesday morning before returning to school to join in with everyone else for the school’s house activity, our swimming team will be competing at the Edinburgh Schools Swimming Gala on Wednesday and the Zebras will be at The Risk Factory on Wednesday. Phew!
We will update the class pages with some photos of the displays as soon as possible.
