Yesterday our P7 pupils performed their leaving show to their parents and all the rest of the school. It was a memorable performance and everyone did their bit to ensure it went really smoothly. Well done to everyone who took part. These shows require an awful lot of hard work and organisation and it would not have been possible without Mrs Anderson and Mrs Fraser. They demonstrated a huge amount of dedication and patience so we would also like to thank them for their invaluable input.
P7 are now with us for their last day and everyone at Colinton would like to wish them all the very best as they take their next step in their school life. Everyone in the class has the ability to go on and achieve great things and we all look forward to hearing of their successes at high school.
We would also like to thank Miss Pette for all of her hard work this year with P6. She has has done a great job and we are all really sad to see her move on. We would also like to wish her all the very best for her upcoming wedding and her new job and new life in Leeds.
Our thanks also go to Captain Borthwick and Captain Harrison, the Unit Welfare Officers from 1 Scots and 3 Rifles, for the presentation of a cheque for £952.57 at this morning’s assembly. This money will be put to great use within the school.
Finally, all information about starting dates for the new session can be found in the link on the right hand side of this page. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
